HILLCLIMB
HILLCLIMB

The Maffra and District Car Club was formed in March 1966 and began work on it’s Hillclimb track at Boisdale in the foothills behind Maffra. The first hillclimb at Boisdale was on 31st August, 1968.

Boisdale’s Hillclimb continues to be the club’s main focus but club members also participate in other motorsport events, such as circuit racing, sprint meetings and hillclimbs at other venues.

Monthly meetings are well attended and the strong membership includes many juniors 14-18 years who also enjoy a strong junior class at Boisdale. In 2005 the club started a junior development program which so far has been very successful and in 2008 the club expanded further to include a Motorkhana series which is open to everyone from 12 years and up.

The Hillclimb is ideal for a family day out and offers both senior and junior drivers the opportunity to develop their driving skills.
