About Maffra & District Car Club
Established since 1966
The Maffra and District Car Club was formed in March 1966 and began work on it’s Hillclimb track at Boisdale in the foothills behind Maffra. The first hill climb at Boisdale was on August 31st, 1969.
Boisdale’s Hillclimb continues to be the club’s main focus but club members also participate in other motor-sports events, such as circuit racing, sprint meetings and hill climbs at other venues.
Monthly meetings are well attended and the strong membership includes many juniors aged from 14 – 18 years who also enjoy a strong junior class at Boisdale.
In 2005 the club started a Junior Development Program, which so far, has been very successful and in 2008 the club has expanded further to include a Motorkhana series which is open to everyone from ages 12 years and up.
This has proved to be very popular as it provides an entry into Motor-sports between the Junior Development program and Hillclimb.

Join the Maffra & District Car Club (MADCC), formed in 1966, and be part of a thriving motorsport community. With a strong focus on the Boisdale Hillclimb, members also enjoy circuit racing, sprints, and other motorsport events. Monthly meetings are well-attended, and the club boasts a robust junior program for ages 14-18, with a successful Junior Development Program started in 2005. In 2008, the club expanded to include a popular Motorkhana series, open to everyone 12 and up, providing a perfect entry into motorsports.

Junior Driver Training Day
The Maffra & District Car Club is hosting their rescheduled Junior Driver Training day, the next training day will be on Sunday 7th July 2024. These events are designed to teach 12 to 17-year-olds basic car control skills in a controlled environment.
The drivers have an instructor with them at all times. Instructors & vehicles are supplied by the Maffra and District Car Club.
Entry forms are required and the event is open to the first 30 entrants.
