MAFFRA

DISTRICT CAR CLUB

The Maffra and District Car Club was formed in March 1966 and began work on it's Hillclimb track at Boisdale in the foothills behind Maffra. The first hill climb at Boisdale was on August 31st, 1969.

Boisdale's Hillclimb continues to be the club's main focus but club members also participate in other motor-sports events, such as circuit racing, sprint meetings and hill climbs at other venues.

Monthly meetings are well attended and the strong membership includes many juniors aged from 14 - 18 years who also enjoy a strong junior class at Boisdale.
In 2005 our club started a Junior Development Program, which so far, has been very successful and in 2008 the club has expanded further to include a Motorkhana series which is open to everyone from ages 12 years and up.

This has proved to be very popular as it provides an entry into Motor-sports between the Junior Development program and Hillclimb.
